Quail Egg Salad
- 8 quail eggs, soft boiled
- White vinegar, 1 tablespoon
- Seat salt, ¼ teaspoon
- Romaine lettuce, 6 large leaves
Short on ingredients, but Long on flavor! Especially if you're a huge fan of soft boiled eggs like I am, this is going to be a fav. And if you don't like soft boiled eggs, good luck finding anyone else to like you. But that's just my opinion.
Put those small little Quail eggs in cool water and bring to a soft boil for about 30 seconds, then cool off with tap water.
Warm up the vinegar (I suggest you simply keep it in a small bowl and place it in a bath of very hot water) and let the sea salt melt in the vinegar.
Now, cut open the quail eggs with a serrated knife and with a tiny spoon, scoop out into a bowl. Then, add the vinegar and salt and give it a few seconds with a whisk.
Place the romaine lettuce leaves on a plate, then drizzle the dressing on it. Done, my friend. Simple, no? Delicious, yes! |
